Dañeila’s Sunshine Salon is a unique, personal hair studio, specializing in color, and haircuts for everyone of all ages. Centrally located in Helena, Montana.
Inspired by my late grandfather, Ramon T. Laude, a barber in the Philippines and owner of Sunshine Barbershop, I attended the Aveda Institute in Washington, DC in 2010. I participated as an artist in national competitions, runway stylist for DC Fashion Week, and after graduating I began to develop my concepts for Have Style - Will Travel, a mobile/at-home hair styling service. Returning to my home state of Montana, I worked in Aveda salons both as a stylist and esthetician, routinely attending the annual International Beauty Show in New York City. Before starting Sunshine Salon in 2020, I had been pursuing my passion for education, receiving my Educator of Cosmetology license in Arizona and worked as an instructor at the Aveda Institute Phoenix, AZ, along with continuing my own styling practices at a salon in Central Phoenix.
I am committed to innovation and excellence in my craft and have transitioned exclusively to the sustainable beauty products of internationally acclaimed skin and hair care products house, Davines, founded in Parma, Italy, and renowned for using high quality ingredients of natural origins.
During the week, I split my time between the salon, and studying and teaching Enshindo Karate under Shihan Kenji Nakagawa of the Nakagawa Martial Arts Academy, located just upstairs in the same building. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my two Great Danes, Bruiser Lee Marvin & Batik.
